Born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1956, Daniel Lawrence now makes his home along the Southern Delaware coast with his wife and son.. He began drawing early in his childhood and never stopped. At age seventeen Daniel sold his first painting and creating art remains one of his greatest passions.

Growing up in Wilmington and living for some time in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, Daniel owes alot to the artists, both past and present, of the Brandywine School. And, although greatly influenced by this artistic heritage, his paintings are the original and personal expressions of the world he sees.

Daniel's paintings and reproductions are included in private and corporate art collections throughout the United States and abroad.
